Wow just great! Patricia the lady at the front counter couldn't express my gratitude more!! She is always so helpful and asks if there's anything else I need or if I need any extra sauce or silverware and always so nice!! Also Juan, so great!! Always has the best recommendations, I'm Muslim and don't eat pork or the meat there but he always make sure I can try other sides and alternatives without cross contaminating any food for me! He always goes above and beyond couldn't recommend this place more and all my friends that do eat pork and barbecue are obsessed would definitely recommend! Worth the price delicious food and the best service you could ever ask for and great country music haha. The inside is definitely a great place to sit down and enjoy food whether by yourself with a friend of family
My family and I were searching for a place to eat. We were craving BBQ, but we normally go to Rudy’s, which is too far. This was our first time at Houston BBQ Company. My husband got the brisket, potato salad and I got the loaded potato with meat; the food was delicious. The servers were nice. This is our new favorite BBQ spot! RECOMMEND!! By the way, the potatoes here are soft and loaded with meat, unlike Rudy's, where the potatoes are hard and barely have any meat.
The beef ribs are tasty & tender. My husband ordered a 3 meat platter & he enjoyed it. I didn't particularly care for the sauce but that's the least because the meat was so good you really don't need the sauce.
Juan is great! He is the pit master there and puts out great bbq. The side are sensational and the meats are even better. The hidden gem on the menu is the loaded baked potato!
Yesterday we had a hankering for bbq. I found this family owned gem of a place through Google Maps. We decided to give it a try and I’m sure glad we did. I had turkey and my wife had brisket. My turkey was delicious. Her brisket looked moist and yummy. The mashed potatoes I got were some of the best I’ve had. The staff is awesome as well. Very attentive!! We even got a tour of the back where they prepare the brisket and where the smoker resides!! The banana pudding is pretty darn good! I urge you to pay them a visit and tell them Walter & Denise sent you!! We’ll definitely be back soon!!
I took a baked potato to go. It was a good. I was in the area and thought I'd give it a try. I had a loaded baked potato with turkey. I was hesitant to get turkey because I thought it wouldn't be so good compared to other meat options but, I was wrong. It came with different sauces (I think 2 diff. Flavors). They were both actually pretty good. I enjoyed it and will get another baked potato soon. People also seemed nice.
My husband found this gem on Google and we decided to try it. I’m so glad we did. I love brisket and I told Daniel I’d hold his feet to the fire on its quality. I wanted it moist, not too fatty and to have a great flavor. Boy, did he deliver! The tomato based sauce is a great accompaniment to the meat, and I enjoyed the baked beans, which were “doctored up” just right! They have Coke Zero as a fountain drink selection, which is my personal favorite. We met Joseph Flores, who is co owner. He showed us the pit area, which was impressive. We tried their banana pudding, which has a great flavor and chunks of banana in it. Haven’t gotten to the home made brownie or pecan pie yet, but I’m sure the quality and taste are excellent as well. I’ve had my share of bbq as a cookoff judge and fan of the Rodeo bbq cookoff, and Joseph’s is one of the best I’ve ever had. My husband and I love family owned businesses and this one deserves all the support and exposure it can get. Give them a try- you won’t be disappointed.
Great food. Very warm welcome. Must try the pork ribs, very tender and delicious and hands down best brisket. The green beans were bomb too. Seriously Great
